In June 2023, I was lucky enough to work with Rachel and Josh on their gorgeous Woodland wedding in East Sussex!
The couple tied the knot at the lovely St Richards Church in Hollingdean, Brighton which held huge personal significance to the bride and groom. Fun fact: this was the first wedding to take place in the building in over 30 years!
The ceremony was a traditional Christian service filled with contemporary worship music and prayers from close friends. The couples personality shone through the ceremony with the signage and Order of Services designed by Rachel herself! The simple floral decor at the church was a gorgeous and delicate way to complement the church and tie in the woodland theme of the whole wedding.
After the ceremony, guests made their way up to the gorgeous Wilderness Woods and, whilst the couple and bridal party had photos taken, they enjoyed canapés and drinks. The weather was perfect for the whole day and the Woods provided an amazing level of shade from the hot weather!

Wilderness Woods provided a beautiful backdrop that didn't need a lot of decor added to it. Rachel designed some more gorgeous signs and activities for the guests to engage with during the cocktail hour!
Guests were treated to an incredible selection of BBQ Buffett dishes provided by Chef Lopez catering which allowed guests to pick a variety of options to eat.
After the dinner, guests enjoyed hilarious and heartfelt speeches and the cutting of the cake- which was beautifully made by a close friend of the bride and groom- before heading down to the first dance. The evening was filled with dancing, joy and laughter!
